Posted in Informed Design, News & Events

Check it out!
Because we love planning design mixers, and because we value the idea of an integrated, interdisciplinary design community (sans the politics) we’ve created designmeets.ca

This site will be the hub for all future Canadian Mixers. You’ll be able to get info on upcoming mixers and follow-up on past mixers with photos, videos and social media links.

We’re just getting started, so find us on LinkedIn, follow @designmeets on twitter and check back here or on the DesignMeets site often to see how the group evolves.

Most of all, this is about building a stronger more unified community, so let us know what you think via any of the links above or via email: rsvp@pivotdesigngroup.com

Thanks!

Experiencing the Samsung Galaxy Tab

Posted in Informed Design

Samsung, manufacturer of laptops, televisions, audio players, mobile phones and other devices, released their 7-inch Galaxy Tab to the US tablet market in November 2010. At Pivot, we believe that though user segments and consumer research are a good way to find out about the demographics of an audience, the results of this kind of research can often leave you lacking the true insights into a situation.
