This is a phrase I’ve heard (and used) over and over because it seems to be the most direct way to quickly describe the extensive gathering and learning, discovery process that we go through to understand our clients. Any given day we might find ourselves working on projects with clients from fields that are so diverse — like the corporate identity for a mining company in the morning and the design of a retail environment in the afternoon. It’s Friday and Katy Perry is doing a great job with her new song ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’ with the help of her geeky alter-ego, 13-year old Kathy Beth Terry.
Using social media platforms, the Kathy Beth character has been constructed to the point where it feels like she truly exists as a real person. She has her own Facebook and Twitter pages where she shares stories about being a teenager, having celebrity crushes, living through 8th grade drama, and of course, her love for Katy Perry.
