Landscape Review & Audit
A landscape audit is a dynamic data-gathering process that examines brands, messaging, and marketplace identity of your organization’s competition. It also involves researching and analyzing other products and/or services in the same category, as well as in overlapping ones. Moreover, the material audit includes a review of audience, media and academic response to your competitors’ products and/or services. A landscape review and material audit rely heavily on the idea that Pivot’s designers are open, observant, and removed enough from your organization to listen, document and analyze with trained senses in order to pull useful insight for use in the design of your product and/or service.
Our Approach
The audit examines how communications materials and marketing tools have been used within your organization. It determines what has worked and what has been unsuccessful in order to provide practical insights about the creation of new programs. In some cases, old materials that are no longer in circulation may be valuable and worth discussing in order to gain insights about how to improve future designs.
Benefits
- Gain an understanding of competitors in the current marketplace;
- Understand pros and cons of your past and current materials and messaging;
- Suggest new vehicles for innovation and/or revisions on existing designs.
