Package Design
Packaging is the way your brand makes that all-important first impression, but it also sets the tone for the experience your customers and users have with the product and/or service. As a result, your packaging must be visually enticing and capable of building consumer anticipation about the enclosed product while at the same time maintaining an environmentally conscious attitude.
Pivot’s design team is experienced in developing product packaging that is practical, eye-catching and durable enough to minimize returns due to damage. We will work with you to develop a concept that represents your brand while introducing your product to the marketplace with insight and impact. Our focus is on helping your product stand out from the competition and attract the interest of your target audience.
Our Approach
The packaging process begins with our Pivot worksession. We meet with key company stakeholders with the goal of understanding the product, the corporate brand, the desired product image, the consumers, and the space in which the product will be living — both on the shelf and within the context of your customers’ use.
Our research after this worksession will include an examination and review of your competitors’ product packaging and current market trends to identify opportunities. We rely on design research tools such as walkthroughs, experience mapping, and field observation to gain a better understanding of your product and its use before delving into the visual design of the piece.
